Zero Coupon Bond

A bond that pays no periodic coupon (interest) but, rather, all accrued interest (if any is specified) is paid alongside the bond's face value at maturity.

Zero-Sum Game

A game or game-like activity in which one participant's gain can only be at the expense of another's loss.
